About me
…Actually…I am a software engineer!
I have worked, and am still working, for many major companies, amongst them International Paper, Nabisco, AT&T, IBM, EDS and HP.
Jewelry making is for the soul, it is my passion!
In 2007, when the youngest of my five children was in high school, and the first three of them had already moved out, I was ready to get into a hobby I had always thought of – jewelry making.
I started working only four days a week at my main job, and on my free day I went to jewelry making school. Since that first class, I have taken many other classes, specializing in various techniques and styles, and I have loved every moment of it!
Ever since, this is what I do in most of my free time (and having raised five children, I am accustomed to not needing many hours of sleep), so it is jewelry in the evening, jewelry at night, jewelry in the weekend.
Lucky me, the neighbors do not hear all those hammers knocking, and drilling, at 2:00 AM. My husband for 45 years…he is easy, he only asks me to close the door of my workshop room. My seven grandchildren (working on more…) – they love to do their own little projects, together with me, in my workshop room.
Life is great!
